Outcome Based Math Learning App

As an alternative to traditional list pricing, Levebee offers outcome-based contracts for math intervention (software-only).

Target Population

This model is designed for K–3 students identified as needing Tier 2 or Tier 3 math intervention, as determined either by Levebee diagnostic assessment or the district’s own identification process. In any case, completion of the initial and final Levebee assessment is required.

* For example, students below the 34th percentile in NWEA MAP Growth / Renaissance Star Math, or students identified as “High Risk” or “Some Risk” by Acadience Math / DIBELS Math.

Program Summary

The intervention is typically delivered over 12 school weeks (excluding breaks) and provides 16 active hours of targeted intervention per student through four 20-minute sessions per week.

Success criteria: ≥ 75% of students meet their district-approved learning goals in Levebee.

Responsibilities

District Responsibilities

  • Time: Ensure rostered students use Levebee for 4 Ă— 20 active minutes per week.
  • Logistics: Provide devices, headphones, internet access, and dedicated intervention time blocks.
  • Testing: Administer baseline and end-of-term Levebee diagnostic assessments on schedule.

Levebee Responsibilities

  • Implementation: Provide training, onboarding, and an Implementation Success Plan (ISP).
  • Reporting: Provide dashboards that track student usage, dosage, and engagement quality, and ensure access to this data as outlined in the Data Sharing Protocol.
  • Technology: Maintain platform uptime, data privacy, and SLA-backed technical support.

Pricing Model

To account for additional implementation costs and the increased performance risk Levebee takes on, the total price in the outcome-based model is 25% higher than the standard list price. However, payment is split between guaranteed software costs and performance-based payments. In successful implementations, Levebee is rewarded for delivering outcomes. If agreed outcomes are not achieved, the district benefits from a lower total cost.

Payment Component Share Terms
Base Payment 50% Paid upfront. Covers software licenses and implementation support.
Contingent Payment 50% Paid at the end of the term only if the success criteria are met.

Model Scenario for 100 Students

The list price for 100 students is $3,700 ($37 per student), while the outcome-based price is $4,625 ($46.25 per student), split into a $2,312.50 base payment and a $2,312.50 contingent payment.

Model Costs When Outcomes Are Achieved Costs When Outcomes Are Not Achieved
List price model $3,700 $3,700
Outcome-based model $4,625 $2,312.50

Risk Management

Dosage

Levebee is only accountable for a student’s outcomes if the district ensures that the student meets the minimum implementation requirement: completing at least 90% of the required weekly dosage across the term.

If a student completes less than 90% of the required dosage, the project term may be extended. If this isn't possible, the student will be excluded from the success metrics. This ensures that the contingent payment is not impacted by their final assessment results.

If fewer than 50% of rostered students meet their dosage target for three consecutive weeks, a mandatory intervention meeting with school administrators is triggered to correct the schedule and support implementation.

Assessment Administration

If a student completes the required Levebee dosage but the district does not administer the final assessment, loses the score, or does not share the data within the agreed reporting window, the student is removed from the success criteria calculation, and the contingent payment remains unaffected.

Platform Downtime

If the Levebee platform experiences an outage, the measurement window will be extended, or the district will receive a prorated service credit.
